Community Lunch:
PortCare hosts a community service and lunch every Friday from 12pm-1:30pm in the foyer of C3 Church Fremantle, 230 Hampton Road, South Fremantle. This event is for anyone looking to connect with others and be encouraged over a midday meal; tea and coffee are also provided.
Op Shop:
PortCare operates an Op Shop that sells clothing, furniture, household items and bric a brac at a fraction of the retail cost.
Low Cost Supermarket:
PortCare has developed a longstanding relationship with many local suppliers who supply food and groceries at a fraction of their normal retail cost. This allows PortCare to pass on these savings to customers.
Emergency Relief:
Emergency relief is accessible to people who have fallen on difficult times and need a helping hand through food assistance. To be eligible for assistance, a referral must be obtained from a relevant partner Agency such as Centrelink, a Refuge or Social Worker. Due to heavy demand please ask the Agency to phone ahead to book an appointment.
Work Experience:
Through providing work experience for the long term unemployed, school students or people rehabilitating back into mainstream society it meet’s PortCare’s core value of helping people up.
PortCare Kwinana Fruit & Vegetable Hampers:
Every Friday 12pm at C3 Church Kwinana we have free fruit & veggie boxes on offer to anyone in the community, as well as complimentary bread/bakery goods to take away on the day. You will find as at, 1/1 Stanyford Way, Medina (opposite the golf course). Stay and chat with our team and enjoy a complimentary hot drink.
