PortCare was established in 2000 by C3 Church Fremantle to assist people who were struggling to make ends meet. PortCare operates an Op Shop where customers can purchase clothes, household items, furniture and bric a brac for a fraction of the retail cost. A Low Cost supermarket is also operated out of PortCare that stocks cheap food and groceries.
Customers can also access free bread, fruit and vegetables that are regularly donated by local suppliers.
Emergency relief is available to clients through our referral system. PortCare works closely alongside other agencies and organisations to provide support, retraining and pastoral care to members of the wider community. |
As a not for profit Organisation any profits made through PortCare are used to support community based programs including School Breakfast Programs, Youth Programs, Indigenous Community Morning Teas to name a few.
